GUELPH — David Heppenstall is delighted to announce that he has been elected the undergraduate student representative in the Senate of the University of Guelph for the Bachelor of Computing constituency. David received sixty-eight percent (68%) of the vote — thirty six (36) points ahead of the incumbent.
Committed to upholding the educational policies of the esteemed institution, the Senate serves as a vital conduit between the University community and its governing bodies.
Representing the diverse voices within the University community, the Senate comprises executives, college deans, department chairs, faculty members, and student senators. Together, these individuals collaboratively shape the University’s academic programs, regulations, and policies, ensuring an inclusive and progressive scholastic environment.
